WATER HEATER BLAMED IN SMOKE CONDITION
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (MERCER)--A smoke condition in a residence on Church Street was caused by a faulty water heater in a basement on Wednesday September 12, 2001. Once the problem was located the smoke was vented from the house and the residents were able to return to their dwelling.
