FIRE GUTS LAUNDRY ROOM AT SHARON MEWS

        WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (MERCER)--A fire in the morning hours of Friday September 7, 2001 gutted a laundry room and caused smoke and heat damage in the Sharon Mews Development. The quick responce of the fire department kept the fire from spreading and destroying the rest of the unit. The fire started in a dryer in the laundry room but the exact cause of the fire is undetermined because of extensive damage.
