MVA REQUIRES RESCUE

        WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP--(Mercer)--A serious motor vehicle accident occurred on Route 130 South Bound at Route 526 at 7 a.m. on Wednesday October 17, 2001. When firefighters arrived they found a four vehicle accident and a person trapped in one of the vehicles. Firefighters place the new Holmatro rescue tools in service to remove a door to get a person out of a car. Other firefighters assisted the police, and ambulances squads from Allentown and Hightstown treat other patients with injuries. Mercer County Paramedics responded and treated the most serious. Washington Township Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
