TANKER TRUCK FIRE

        HAMILTON TOWNSHIP (Mercer County)—Washington Township Firefighters responded to assist Groveville Fire Department on a fully involved tuck fire on Route 130 North Bound around 4:30 a.m. November 22, 2000. The fire started in the front section of a tractor-trailer and quickly spread; the truck was carrying liquid asphalt. The fire closed the North Bound side of Route 130 in the area of Home Depot on Route 130 between Klockner Road and I-195. The departments responding were Groveville Fire Department (Hamilton Station 19), Washington Township Fire Department (Washington Station 40) and the Nottingham Fire Company (Station 17).
