Volunteers Attend NJ Forestry Wildland Fire Fighting Class

Robbinsville Twp.- Four volunteer firefighters attended the New Jersey State Wildland Forestry Service class held in Monmouth County. The class was a 4 day class where firefighters learned proper techniques, terminology, tactics, in being a Wildland Forestry Firefighter and also learned the states history of forest fires. This training will benefit the company at the present time and also in the near future when the new brush truck arrives. Great thanks and appreciation is given to Captain Schaffener for his hard work in receiving the company a governmental grant for a new brush truck. Delivery of the new brush unit is set for sometime in June/July 2009. (More information to follow)
