Multiple Vehicles Send Multiple Patients to the Hospital
Robbinsville (Mercer County)- During the early evening hours of May 9,
firefighters were dispatched by Mercer County Central to respond to the New
Jersey Turnpike at Mile Post 60.4 North Bound for a reported vehicle fire.
During response, Mercer County Central updated Engine 40 and R140-10 that there
was reported to be an overturned vehicle with unknown entrapment and multiple
injuries. Ambulance 41-11 was requested by R140-10s crew to respond due to the
reported number of injuries. On arrival, Engine 40 reported no over turned
vehicle however multiple vehicles involved. R140-10 and Ambulance 41-11
transported multiple patients to the local area hospital while Chief 40, Engine
40, and Engine 402 remained on scene for just a little bit longer while the
Turnpike Authority and Tow companies cleaned up debris and remove the vehicles.
