Fire Fighters Tackle Truck Fire
Washington Township (Mercer) NJ-- Fire Fighters were dispatched to respond to
445 Gordon Road for a reported fully involved truck fire at 6:25 PM on October
18. Engine 40 arrived on scene with an update of a fully involved box truck. The
crew from Engine 40 went into service with a 1 3/4 inch "trash" line. The fire
was knocked down within minutes and Engine 40, R140-10 and Utility 40 picked up
and returned by 6:45 PM. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
