Fire Extinguisher Drill for Washington Township Employees  

Washington Township—The Washington Township Fire Department conducted fire extinguisher training for Washington Township Employees on June 12, 2007. The fire extinguisher training is an OSHA requirement and also helps keep insurance rates low through the Township's involvement with the Joint Insurance Fund saving tax dollars. A second training class will be provided on Friday June 15, 2007 between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. for employees unable to make the first session.

Fire extinguisher training is available from the fire department to businesses and organizations located within Washington Township. The business or organization needs to provide fire extinguishers and permit fees for the training. Please call 609-259-7814 for more information. Some businesses are required to have this training under OSHA regulations and may receive insurance discounts on fire protection for such training.
