Mutual Aid to Upper Freehold on Interstate 195
Upper Freehold Township (Monmouth)- Engine 402 was dispatched to respond to mile marker 8.6 East bound on I-195 in Upper Freehold for a truck fire around 12:30 P.M. Prior to dispatch Hope Fire Company Station 82 arrived on seen and reported a fully involved truck fire. The fire started in the front of the truck and spread through the engine compartment and into the cab. Engine 82-82s crew made a quick knock down of the fire while Tanker 82-86 supplied additional water for suppression. Allentown First Aid Squad also responded. No injuries were reported.
