Wires Down Pin Driver

 

 

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (Mercer County) -A truck traveling south bound ripped down a wires and a utility pole sending live electrical wires crashing down on the roadway during the morning rush hour on Wednesday March 8, 2006 at 8:39 a.m.. A tractor trailer following the other truck was not able to stop in time and the truck came in contact with the live wires pinning the driver in the truck for over an hour. Firefighters helped police direct traffic and stood by until the roadway could be reopened at 10:52 a.m.
