WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (Mercer County) -Firefighters were called to a chimney fire on Church Street in the Windsor section of town on Friday March 3, 2006 at 8:34 p.m. Firefighters laddered the roof and found the chimney and the box structure surrounding the flue pipe on fire. Firefighters had the fire under control within 20 minutes and were also able to keep the fire from spreading to the rest of the house.
