Blizzard of 2006
Washington Township (Mercer)--The Washington Township Fire Department responded to 21 calls during what is being called the Blizzard of 2006. The snow event lasted for almost 2 days and the department responded to several medical emergencies, accidents and weather related incidents over a 2 ½ day period beginning February 11.
