Washington Township (Mercer)--On June 8, 2005, the Washington Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Beechwood Drive and Robbinsville-Edinburgh Road for a Motor Vehicle Crash with entrapment.  Firefighters arrived within minutes to find a female trapped in her car after being stuck by a pickup truck.  Washington firefighters quickly evaluated the injuries, extricated the victim and secured her to a backboard.  Police on scene assisted with traffic control and the patient was transported to Helene Fuld Trauma Center as a precaution due to the mechanism of the injury.
