
Route 130 Accident
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – On Friday morning, December 9, 2005 the Washington Township Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in front of the Timothy's Farm Market on Route 130. Arriving firefighters found an SUV that had stuck and snapped off a utility pole. Miraculously, the driver was not injured. Live arcing wires were down at the scene presenting a hazard to passing motorists and patrons of the business. Firefighters and Police remained at the scene until the utility company arrived to disable power.
