Washington Township (Mercer)--A minivan and a Volvo station wagon collided at the intersection of Route 130 at North Main Street and Voelbel Roads on Monday April 18, 2005. Firefighters from the Washington Township Fire Department were called to the scene at 9:17 a.m. and arrived at 9:19 a.m. and found the 2 vehicle collision. The driver of the Volvo was temporarily pinned without injuries and was assisted by firefighters in getting out of the car. Both drivers refused transportation to the hospital. The Washington Township Police Department is investigating the crash. NJ DOT also responded to assist closing the roadway while the vehicles were separated.
