New fire fighters sworn in at Ceremony
Washington Township (Mercer)----As of
January 6, 2001.... Washington Township Fire Department will now be providing
it's residents with Basic Life Support protection. In a ceremony on
January 5th, the eight new EMT/Fire Fighters were sworn in by Commissioner
Debbie
Matson. The township will no longer rely on mutual aid to provide primary
first aid coverage for the town. The firefighters look forward to providing
fast, effective and professional care to all residents and visitors of our
community. Also during the ceremony fire company officers and new junior
members were also sworn in.
